Our Team
Dr. Christine Magalhaes BMSc (Hons), D.D.S.
Dr. Magalhaes graduated from the University of Western Ontario with Honours in Bachelor of Medical Science. She then went to dental school at the University of Toronto where she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Honours.
Dr Magalhaes worked in downtown Toronto for 6 years prior to moving to Collingwood and taking over Erie Street Dental.
Dr Magalhaes is passionate about dentistry and is always doing online lectures and attending courses to further her clinical skills.
She has extensive training in Invisalign as she loves that she can offer her patients a treatment that will set them up for a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums in a conservative manner.
She loves living and working in Collingwood and takes advantage of this beautiful area by skiing in the winter and enjoying the beach in the summer.
She is very busy during her down town chasing her 2 children around.
Dr. Min Hui Lin BMSc (Hons), D.D.S.
Dr. Min grew up in Markham, Ontario and moved to London, Ontario where she completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences degree with Honours, in 2015, at the University of Western Ontario. The following year, she attended the University of Toronto, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Honours. Upon graduation in 2019, Dr. Min joined the wonderful team at Erie Street Dental as an associate dentist, where she strives to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, while helping patients remain at ease during dental procedures. Dr. Min takes time to educate patients on preventive care to ensure optimal oral and overall health. She is also an active member of the ODA and RCDSO. Dr. Min lives in Springwater with her family and her hobbies include gardening, baking and doing yoga.
Laura - Registered Dental Hygienist
Laura has been a hygienist for 18 years and has been with our office for 17. Laura has a close relationship with so many patients because her warm and friendly personality has been a main stay at our office. Laura graduated from College and received the Golden Scaler award highlighting her excellent clinical skills.
Outside of work Laura is the definition of a hockey mom, spending most of her evenings and weekends in a hockey arena.
She also loves to travel with her husband to warm destinations during her time off.
Meghan - Registered Dental Hygienist
Meghan was born in Collingwood and enjoyed growing up in the rural life before going to school at George Brown College in Toronto. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program with Honours and then chose to stay in Toronto for a few years. Now she’s back enjoying the quiet country life with her husband in Creemore, where she enjoys all the scenic hiking trails.
Lorna - Level II Dental Assistant
Lorna has been in a dental assistant for 20 years. She actually started out her dental career as a co op student in our office with the original owner. She has been Dr. Magalhaes’ main assistant for over 5 years now.
She enjoys getting to know our patients and usually can find some sort of connection or mutual friend.
On her off time Lorna loves to travel, camp and bake.
Michelyne - Level II Dental Assistant
Michelyne has been working at Erie Street Dental since graduating with honours from Georgian College in 2020. She loves learning new things and keeping everything organized. Michelyne enjoys chatting with our patients, getting to know them and making them feel comfortable at their appointment. When she is not working, Michelyne loves spending time with two children and husband. The beach is her favorite place to be!
Regina - Administration
Regina has been in the dental field for 25 years. During that time she has worked at the front desk and on the clinical side as a Floater. Regina is currently our main Front Desk Administrator and is happy to greet you as you arrive and answer any questions you may have! In her spare time, she loves swimming, and going for walks.
Keristen - Office Manager
Keristen has been working in dentistry for 30 years. During her dental career she has worked in many different positions and has always loved learning and working with great people. She has recently relocated to the area and is enjoying being a part of the Erie Street Dental Team.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, swimming, and kayaking.
